Who we are

This website is run by The Core Collective (“we”, “us”), a pilates studio at 8230 NE 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33138. This policy covers www.thecorecollectivemiami.com and the information you share with us through it.

What we collect

Information you give us

• When you get in touch. The contact form on this site is provided by Mindbody, our booking provider. What you enter (your email address and, if you choose, your name, phone number, how you heard about us and your message) is saved to our studio account on Mindbody, along with which reminder and news options you tick. Those boxes start unticked. If you email, call or message us, we receive whatever you include.
• When you book or buy. Class bookings, passes and payments are handled by Mindbody, our booking provider, through the schedule on this site and on Mindbody’s own pages. Mindbody collects your account and payment details. We can see your name, contact details, booking and purchase history and anything you add to your client profile, so we can run your classes. We never see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, records standard technical details when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
• No analytics or advertising trackers. We don’t use analytics tools, advertising pixels or cross-site tracking, and we don’t set our own cookies.
• Third-party features. The live schedule, pricing and contact form (Mindbody) and the map on our contact page (Google Maps) load from those companies, which may set cookies or use similar browser storage under their own policies.

How we use it

• To answer your questions and requests.
• To run your bookings, classes, private sessions and events, including reminders and changes to classes you’ve booked.
• To send news and offers, only if you’ve opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the message or by telling us.
• To keep the site and studio safe, and to meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We share it only with:

• Service providers that help us run the studio and this site, such as Mindbody (bookings and payments), Vercel (hosting) and our email provider, who may use it only to provide their service to us.
• Authorities or advisers when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, staff or studio.

Community chats and social media

Our WhatsApp community groups and Instagram are run on those platforms. If you join a group, your name and phone number are visible to other members, and WhatsApp’s and Instagram’s own privacy policies apply to what you share there.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you’re a client or we need it for the reason you gave it to us, and longer only where the law requires (for example, tax and accounting records). Messages you send us are kept for as long as they’re useful for answering you.

Keeping it safe

This site is served over an encrypted connection, payments are handled by Mindbody’s payment systems, and we limit access to client information to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of marketing at any time. Some details we may need to keep, such as payment records. Where the law of your state gives you additional rights, we’ll honor them. To make a request, contact us using the details below; we may need to confirm your identity first.

You can also update your profile and communication preferences in your Mindbody account.

Children

This site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them online. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Links to other sites

This site links to services we don’t control, including Mindbody, Google Maps, WhatsApp and Instagram. Their privacy policies apply when you use them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top of the page.
